This year for my holiday cookie baking projects I decided to try out a few new recipes to add to my collection of cookies.

First, I have to admit I am not a oatmeal raisin cookie fan at all. I love oatmeal and raisins for breakfast but never liked them in a cookie, until this recipe.

This weekend I made my own peanut butter with the intension of making a peanut butter and homemade jam sandwich for lunch this week. After I made the sandwich, I thought a peanut butter cookie would be great and so I set off to find the ingredients.
