  1. Hi Tara! Saw your site-and that you posted this morning! Nice. Great to meet you last night. I am looking forward to opportunities to chat some more-I’ll email about my June 5th party 🙂

  2. I just want to leave a comment about this page: It’s awesome! One of the best cooking pages on the web (in my opinion) and I’m already looking forward to enjoying your catering.

  3. Hi,
Saw your ad on craigslist. Curious, how much do you charge for something like this…in home cooking for dinner a few nights a week or more and shopping, etc

  4. Tara,

What brand or kind of pans would you recommend? I’ve seen there’s a lot out there and I have tried several but nothing has lasted longer than a few months… They all loose their anti stick surface after a while…

  6. Hey Tara,

Love your website! My question is this, can you recommend a nice, Autumn recipe that will please both vegetarians and meat lovers?

  7. Pumpkin Bread Recipe

I have 2 recipes that I will make depending on my pumpkin mood.

One calls for the canned pumpkin and more spices and the other shredded pumpkin. Both recipes are really good and have different textures as well.

The canned has the smooth cake/bread like texture and the shredded has the hearty texture. Again it all depends on what your in the mood for or preference is.

  8. Looking for a great pumpkin bread recipe. One that does not include nuts. Can you help? My mother is willing to trade her Irish Soda Bread recipe for it. and since she’s from Ireland it is authentic.

  9. Toaster Oven

Consumer Reports lists the following as Top Rated Toaster Ovens:
Krups FBC2 6-Slice Digital Convection Toaster Oven, Black (larger)
T-Fal OT8065002 Avante Elite Toaster Oven (budget)
Sanyo Space Saving Toasty Oven (compact)

I personally have and love the DeLonghi EO1251 6-Slice 1/2-Cubic-Foot Convection Oven.
This large, 0.5-cu.ft. Toaster Oven is large enough to cook one 12-in. pizza, bake an entrée or side dish. Food cooks 20–30% faster for a perfectly browned outside and moist, juicy inside. You can even cook on both racks at the same time! Choose Bake (450-200F), Bake with Convection, Broil (500F), Toast, Slow Bake and Keep Warm for precise and convenient cooking. Removable crumb tray allows you to easily dispose of crumbs and other food particles. The neatest thing about this oven, is in the summer time, it comes in handy for cooking so I do not have to get the oven going.

  10. Do you any of your readers know of a really good brand of toaster over? The one I have just purchased doesn’t hold it’s correct temperature and I don’t want to buy another one until I know it will work properly.

  11. Tara,

I was able to find the green yogurt. But not in any of the places you would expect. Only place that Safeway had it was in their organic section. Not in regular yogurt area or with sour cream. Just thought you’d like to know

  12. I recently came across a recipe that requires Greek Yogurt. I have tasted this at restaurants but never seen it in the stores. Do I need to go to a specialty store for this?

  13. Greek Yogurt

You can find this item in most specialty stores such as health food, natural food stores and high-end supermarkets. I have also seen this in local stores such as safeway or kroger stores. The brands I have seen are Voskos and Stonyfield. Good Luck Finding your Greek Yogurt!
